At this point in time my wife and I order from there every so often just to see if something changes or if desperate after having a longer than expected day. Other than that, it’s worth driving a bit further for better food offerings. It’s sad really as there was a time in which the pizza and all the other items on the menu were pretty good.
The BEST THE BEST cream of crab soup. I get a cup and that fills me up. Did I say they have the BEST CREAM OF CRAB SOUP
If you like gambling then this is the place for you as one never knows what they’re going to get and more times than not, you lose. I have eaten there many times as I hate to judge a place off of a visit or two. More than once I have had burnt fries. The pizza is, well it’s a thing. It’s probably the only thing that comes out consistently as an OK at best item. It’s very much a local, small town pizza offering and nothing more. The cheesesteak is overpriced and subpar along with the cold subs too. For the amount you pay, you would think the meat would be of a higher grade. Instead you get low end cold cuts from whatever discount brand they serve.
When it was pams place it was really a nice place with good food.the food is still good but sometimes its brought to you cold or they send out a partly raw calzones...it seems to be run by a bunch of young teens. You hear them talking and yelling and laughing from the kitchen. So on a good day your food it hot and delish...other times its cold and the portions are small
This is our third time ordering from Katie Mae's and this is our third time having a bad experience. We're new to the area and it is the only food place in town, so we wanted it to be good. The food has never been ready when they tell you, it's always at least 30 minutes past the 15-20 they quote you on the phone. Then today when I got my pizza home, there was so much cheese and grease on it that you couldn't even pick the slices up. The staff is always busy joking with their friends at the bar to properly take care of their other guests. The food is overpriced and mediocre at best. We have found it takes less time to drive to Federalsburg or Hurlock for food than to go to Katie Mae's.
I gave this place a 3 star rating previously. This time it gets one star. It was 10:30am, and I was thinking about breakfast from the time I woke @ 5am. What's that? You don't serve breakfast after 10am? You're really not going to make me eggs? Who is the dope that made that decision? You know, I don't care who, Goodbye!
